Founded in 2011, Phoenix Cosmopolitan Group (PCG) is a triple bottom line shared value social enterprise with the mission of increasing and accelerating impact of every stakeholder in the philanthropic sector.
PCG is comprised of four divisions: Phoenix Impact Exchange, Phoenix Impact Advisors, Phoenix Impact Media and Phoenix Impact Analytics (2015).
Chief Executive Officer
Tamarah serves concurrently as the CEO of Phoenix Idea Lab a tax exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit and the CEO of Phoenix Cosmopolitan Group, LLC. Her organizational experience includes 21 years in executive level roles in the political, philanthropic, and business sectors.
Chief Operating Officer
Michele brings over 24 years of experience serving private and public sector organizations in manufacturing, higher education, economic and workforce-development forums. As Chief Operations Officer at PCG she provides leadership and oversight for our strategic initiatives, systems, products, and services.
Leon E. Wilson
Leon E. Wilson
Chief Financial Officer
Leon’s four decades, overseeing non-profit finance, emerging markets, and risk management, make him uniquely qualified to shepherd financial operations and compliance. Leon completed graduate studies at Harvard Business School and The University of Virginia Graduate School of Retail Bank Management. He holds an undergraduate degree from Boston University.
Chief Technology Officer
Travis brings two decades of business, technical, and strategy experience and leads the architecture and development of Phoenix Impact Exchange, the nationwide data exchange platform set to launch in 2014. He received his Certificate of Technology, Certificate in Software Systems Development, and Advanced Specialties Certificate in Forensic Investigation/Computer Crime from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Chief Project Manager
Kierri serves as primary customer contact and manages overall company customer interface relationships for defined scope of work to ensure responsiveness to customer needs and effective professional conduct. She is responsible for setting and managing client expectations and increasing customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and delivery of quality products and services.
Chief Performance Officer
Devin is charged with driving results; establishing, monitoring and tracking business performance metrics; recommending operational improvements; and ensuring quality control on all products and services. He has served as Director of Operations for Phoenix Idea Lab and The Black Family Foundation.
Director of Corporate Communications
Mary brings over a decade of experience in government relations, public affairs, grant management and communications to PCG and currently oversees all communications for the company’s four divisions. She received her Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Edinboro University.
Office Manager/Human Resource Administrator
Laura came to PCG in 2012. She holds over 19 years of progressive management experience with a concentration in Human Resources. Laura served as a C-141 Loadmaster in the United States Air Force. She is currently continuing her education by pursuing her Masters Degree in Organizational Management.
Knowledge Transfer Analyst
Roland brings specialized experience in corporate and competitive intelligence analysis to Phoenix. His experience in research, threat and data analysis, financial analysis, and project management make him a valuable asset to the organization. Roland earned his Masters Degree in Applied Intelligence and Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Mercyhurst University.
Executive Assistant/ Project Manager
Alex provides support to the CEO and leads and manages a variety of projects. His previous work as a Business Strategy Development consultant makes him a great addition to PCG. Alex studied Economics at the University of Virginia and obtained a dual Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Political Science from Edinboro University.
Senior Business Analyst
John brings expertise in nonprofit consulting, business management and competitive market research to the Phoenix Team. In the past three years, he has focused on analyzing organizations in the nonprofit sector to aid in maximizing the efficiency of organizations and providing crucial market research for assisting in high level decisions.

Business Development Manager
Carmen Scott Dawson serves under the CFO as Business Development Manager for Phoenix Cosmopolitan Group and brings 15 years of business development experience to the team. He received his Bachelors Degree in Communications from Slippery Rock University and is working towards a graduate degree in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship at Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
As Communications Specialist, Eliza provides support services and act as a key facilitator of primary data collection. She brings over five years experience to the team, including research analysis. Eliza graduated from Mercyhurst University with a Bachelors Degree in Archeology.
IT Support Specialist
Thomas brings over eight years of experience to Phoenix in IT Support in managing web-based technologies, database administration, system integration, and computer repair. He received his Bachelors Degree in Business from Mercyhurst University.
Business Development Specialist
Working under the direction of the CFO, Stanli brings over 10 years experience in project management, market research and SWOT analysis to his position of Business Development Specialist. Stanli received his Bachelors Degree in International Business from Gannon University.
John oversees and coordinates PCG’s financial services. He joins the organization as a Certified Public Accountant, specializing in corporate and individual taxation. Prior to joining the Phoenix staff, John was a Senior Associate at BKD CPAs and Advisors (formerly Malin, Berquist & Company, LLP). John received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting & Finance and his Masters in Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University.
BethAnn is responsible for leading and advising teams in projects dealing with intelligence, research, project management, and analytic techniques. She has four years of experience in research and analysis and six years of experience in customer service. BethAnn received her Masters Degree in Applied Intelligence from Mercyhurst University and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Neumann University.
Social Media Content Specialist
Melissa works as our Social Media Content Specialist and helps to create digital and social content to drive engagement and conversation. Melissa received her Bachelors Degree in Art Education from Mercyhurst University.
Executive Assistant/Project Manager
Theresa brings over 15 years of communication and management experience to Phoenix. In her role, she provides support services to the CFO and the Business Development team while leading and managing a variety of projects. Theresa is also a certified Emergency Medical Technician.
Quality Control Specialist
As a Quality Control Specialist, Cassie works to ensure accuracy and clarity in internal and external documents for Phoenix. She has over seven years of nonprofit sector experience with expertise in survey development, program development and implementation, statistical research, and fundraising. Cassie received her Bachelors Degree in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University.
Social Media Content Developer
With over six years of experience in project management, Dana's work as Social Media Content Developer helps lead the team in developing strategies to complete client-based digital media projects. These services include social media marketing, digital media management, and project oversight. She is certified in Advanced Social Media Advanced Digital Analytics.
Director of Sales and Business Development
George serves as Director of Sales and Business Development for Phoenix Impact Advisors and brings over 27 years experience in the field to the Phoenix team. George’s experience and knowledge in reversing sales trends and developing high performance sales teams is an asset to PCG. George graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Missouri Valley College and has a Lifetime Teacher Certificate.
Executive Assistant/ Receptionist
Lori brings over 20 years of experience in marketing and advertising, administrative & executive support and business communications to the Phoenix team. In her role, she assists in a variety of projects and offers support to the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Project Manager. Lori received her Bachelors Degree in Communications from Penn State University.
Senior Nonprofit Analyst
As Senior Nonprofit Analyst, Justin has worked with over 100 non-profit organizations in Northwest Pennsylvania. His work has focused on understanding the supply, demand, needs and gaps in programs and services, in order to help non-profits maximize impact. Justin is an active member of Bike Erie and serves on the board of the Lake Erie Arboretum. He received his Bachelors Degree in Intelligence Studies from Mercyhurst University.

TJ brings over 12 years of experience in communications and retail management to Phoenix. In his role he provides support services to the Chief Project Manager and helps facilitate the collection of data. TJ ensures a great customer experience with Phoenix Cosmopolitan Group. He studied Business Psychology at Arkansas State University and graduated from The French Culinary Institute in New York City in 2007.
As Project Manager, Emily leads and manages a variety of projects for Phoenix. She brings over five years of experience in large-scale project management and quality control to the team. Emily graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Edinboro University.
